KCC fund for a maximum of 570 hours a year for universal and 1140 hours for extended entitlement.
We offer the funding during term time only over 38 weeks at a maximum of 15 hours/30 hours per week.
All day 8am-4.pm (7 hours of funding and 1 hour chargeable)
Morning session 8am-1pm (4 hours of funding and 1 hour chargeable)
Some families are eligible for FF2 funding. All Free for 2 funded children are entitled to 15 hours per week of funding over 38 weeks.
All 3 & 4 year old children are entitled to 15 hours per week of early education the term after their 3rd birthday. Funded children are entitled to 15 hours per week of funding over 38 weeks.
If you and your partner work 16 hours or more per week and earn under £100,000 PA each you may qualify for 30 hours per week of funded entitlement from 9 months old babies. Please visit Childcare & Early Years Education - Best Start in Life to see if you are eligible. If you are eligible you will receive a code which you need to give to us to validate. Children whose parents qualify for the working parents entitlement can access 30 hours per week of funding over 38 weeks.
Free entitlement totally free patterns can be accessed as follows:
FF2 places - hours to be used between 1pm -4pm
Free entitlement place 15hrs hours to be used between 1pm-4pm
Extended hours place 30hrs hours to be used between 9.30am-3.30pm
Please note if you access a totally free place, you cannot purchase additional sessions. No registration fee is required if you access one of the above.
